El espejo falso (Réné Magritte) + Go to the mirror (The Who)

He seems to be completely unreceptive.
The tests I gave him show no sense at all.
His eyes react to light the dials detect it.
He hears but cannot answer to your call.

See me, feel me, touch me, heal me.
See me, feel me, touch me, heal me.

There is no chance no untried operation.
All hope lies with him and none with me.
Imagine though the shock from isolation.
When he suddenly can hear and speak and see.

See me, feel me, touch me, heal me.
See me, feel me, touch me, heal me.

His eyes can see
his ears can hear his lips speak
All the time the needles flick and rock.
No machine can give the kind of stimulation,
Needed to remove his inner block.
Go to the mirror boy!
Go to the mirror boy!

I often wonder what he's feeling.
Has he ever heard a word I've said?
Look at him now in the mirror dreaming
What is happening in his head?

Listening to you I get the music.
Gazing at you I get the heat
Following you I climb the mountain
I get excitement at your feet!
Right behind you I see the millions
On you I see the glory.
From you I get the opinions
From you I get the story.

What is happening in his head
Ooooh I wish I knew, I wish I knew.

Tree of Life (Gustav Klimt) + A day in the Life (The Beatles)

A quien corresponda...

I read the news today oh, boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well, i just had to laugh
I saw the photograph
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn't notice that the lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They'd seen his face before
Nobody was really sure if he was from the house of lords

I saw a film today oh, boy
The english army had just won the war
A crowd of people turned away
But i just had to look
Having read the book
I love to turn you on.

Woke up, got out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up, i noticed i was late
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke
Somebody spoke and i went into a dream
Ah

I read the news today oh, boy
Four thousand holes in blackburn, lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall
I'd love to turn you on

Ocean Greyness (Jackson Pollock) + So low (Ocean Colour Scene)

Ocean Greyness (1953)

So Low

If anyone rises at 6.31
And fakes all day that
They're having their fun
They never did get it right
Since they got it so low

To anyone drinking the morning away
The afternoon will prove a mistake
They never will get it right
Now they've got it so low

And we laugh and we drink
And we teach ourselves not to think
(and we find it hard not to think)
We never did get it right
Since we got it so low

To all the faces that
Freeze for you there
In your memory when you try not to care
They never disappear down the slow road

For all of those people
Who bleed by the side
And split from their tongues
And sharpen their knives
They never will get a life now
They've got it so low

Cornfields and pig-tails and
Fish in the stream
The night that the boys stole
A billion dollar dream
From the high jinx school
For girls down the road

Stories are smoke trails
And some may be true
You're listening to me
But I'm talking to you
I hope you never fall from grace
If you get it so low
